If you have any questions on the information above please feel free to call our office.

Prescription Refills

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PHARMACY TO REQUEST A REFILL PRIOR TO CALLING OUR OFFICE.
Drug prescription refills are filled only during office hours when the physician and nurse have access to your medical record. Please have the phone number and location of the pharmacy of your choice available at the time of your call.

Insurance & Billing

To best serve our patients and help avoid any confusion, we'd like to share a few important details about our insurance and billing policies. At this time, we do not participate with health share plans and are unable to see patients with these plans as self-pay.

We are in-network with most major insurance carriers, including:
  • Aetna (excluding the Premier Care Network)
  • BlueCross BlueShield (excluding the E and L Networks)
  • Cigna
  • UnitedHealthcare (excluding the Navigate plan)
For plans in which we participate, we will submit insurance claims on your behalf and ask that your estimated patient responsibility be paid at the time of service. Because insurance plans and benefits vary, we recommend contacting your insurance provider or your employer's human resources department to confirm coverage details and provider participation prior to your visit.

If your insurance coverage changes at any time, please notify our front office team as soon as possible so we can ensure your claims are processed accurately and without delay.

Private Pay Patients

In the event you do not have insurance coverage and must pay for your services, we require payment at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, Mastercard and Visa and offer a self pay discount. If you are unable to pay in full, please contact our office prior to your visit to make payment arrangements.

All patients should make themselves familiar with our Financial Policy

Scheduling

We want every visit with us to exceed your expectations. Our team will work with you to schedule appointments as promptly and conveniently as possible. We're also pleased to share that annual well-woman exams are often covered at 100% under the Affordable Care Act.

Choosing a women's health provider is a personal decision. We encourage you to seek recommendations from trusted friends, family, or coworkers, and to review provider websites to learn more about their experience and care philosophy.

To support strong, continuous relationships, patients establish care with a single physician within our practice. While we strive to meet every patient's expectations, we recognize that care needs and preferences can evolve. If you feel another provider or practice may be a better fit, our team will support a smooth transition, including prompt transfer of medical records upon request.

Canceling Appointments

Please call as soon as possible if you know you will not be able to keep your appointment. This will allow another patient to use that appointment time. We do require a 24 hour advanced notice if you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment

Late Appointments

Please make every effort to be on time for your appointment. We respect that you are taking time out of your busy schedule to spend with us and our providers strive to stay on schedule so that you don’t have to wait long. If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call and let us know so that we may minimize your wait and inconvenience. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. However, you may be asked to wait or, on occasion, be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Guests

We love sharing our time with you and your family and friends. If you have young children who will be accompanying you to your appointment, please try to bring another adult with you to sit with the children during your time. Please refrain from bringing sick family members and friends with you to decrease exposure to our high risk patients.

After Hours

For after hours emergencies, please call 615-340-4655. The phone call will be directed to the after hours answering service. If you are unable to get in touch with the service due to technological difficulties, please proceed to Centennial Women's Hospital or Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

We do not refill prescriptions after hours, please call during regular business hours.
